Triangle Supply Company, Inc. sells to Ferguson Enterprises, Inc.
A 33-year-old privately held company, Triangle Supply was the largest independent distributor of plumbing and electrical supplies in North Texas. Three of the four shareholders wanted liquidity and the growth opportunities provided by being part of a larger organization. The fourth shareholder retired.
A subsidiary of Wolseley PLC (NYSE WOS) with $3.5 billion in revenue, Ferguson Enterprises already had distribution operations in North Texas but purchased Triangle in order to gain market share and favorable real estate locations.

Our services included designing a comprehensive selling program, preparing offering materials, researching for and contacting numerous potential purchasers, evaluating proposals and coordinating negotiations through the closing for maximum value. This transaction closed 45 days after signing of the Letter of Intent.
