Charles V. Lemmon
Charles V. Lemmon is the founder of C.V. Lemmon & Co., Inc. Mr. Lemmon has devoted his entire career to working with mid-sized corporations in both investment banking and commercial banking. With a broad background in many industries, Mr. Lemmon is well acquainted with the special requirements of each business situation. C.V. Lemmon has completed over 90 merger & acquisition and corporate finance transactions.
A former commercial banker, Mr. Lemmon served five years as Senior Vice President and General Manager of MLease Corp., which was a subsidiary of MBank Dallas, formerly known as Mercantile Bank Dallas. Mr. Lemmon also served as Vice President and Portfolio Manager of a $90MM commercial loan portfolio within MBank Dallas. Prior to MLease Corp. and MBank Dallas, Mr. Lemmon worked four years with Citicorp Industrial Credit in Dallas. His responsibilities with Citicorp primarily included new business origination for both commercial term loans secured by heavy equipment together with equipment leases.
Mr. Lemmon earned his M.B.A. in banking & finance from North Texas State University in 1984. Mr. Lemmon also earned his B.S. in Business and Marketing from Auburn University in 1974.

Alan R. Hutson
Alan R. Hutson serves as Senior Vice President and Deal Maker within C.V. Lemmon. His skills in operational and financial analysis are among the best in our industry. Clients appreciate Mr. Hutson's extensive operational and educational background together with his personable demeanor. Perhaps Mr. Hutson's best talent is his patient and persistent ability to coordinate detailed negotiations among various parties through a successful closing.
In the position of Lead Deal Maker, Mr. Hutson is responsible to coordinate the writing and preparation of Confidential Offering Memorandums, researching for buyers & lenders, and developing strategies for clients. Within Mr. Hutson's portfolio of clients, Mr. Hutson is the primary contact for negotiations among sellers/buyers, borrowers/lenders, attorneys, accountants, financial planners, and all other professionals involved in a client's transaction. Within C.V. Lemmon's professional Deal Making team, Mr. Hutson actively serves as a colleague and resource for ideas and strategies. All Deal Makers work cooperatively to provide resource depth and multiple professional contacts for clients.
Mr. Hutson has more than 25 years of senior management and operational experience as he served as President of Chamberlain-Phipps, N.A., a $200MM British-owned company which manufactured, marketed, and distributed branded footwear products. Perhaps Mr. Hutson's most notable work experience was his turnaround of the $55MM Lehigh Safety Shoe Company. Serving as President, Mr. Hutson strategically repositioned the company to successfully introduce new branded niche products within a crowded market, made strategic acquisitions of high-potential distributors, reduced backorders 75% with 31% less inventory, increased sales 34%, and improved gross margins 6.1%. Earlier in his career and over a 14-year term, Mr. Hutson rose to Executive Vice President of the U.S. Apparel Group within Work Wear Corporation, where his Group increased sales by 200% and net margins increased by 2.2% before Mr. Hutson was recruited to a turnaround of the Lehigh Safety Shoe Company.
Mr. Hutson earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida (1968) and his Masters of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Business School (1973).
