LMI Aerospace, Inc. is a NASDAQ ("LMIA") public company, which is pursuing a strategy of both internal and external growth through acquisitions. Prior to their acquisition of Precise Machine, LMIA had significant manufacturing operations in the states of Washington, Kansas, and Missouri, but not in Texas. LMIA desired to acquire a leading machine part maker with a stable labor force and continuity of customers.

Precise Machine Company is a manufacturer of precision machine parts for the aviation and commercial industries. The owner had experienced ill health and recovered, but desired to sell the company in order to retire and travel with his wife. The owner further desired to sell to a qualified buyer, who would pay a fair value and have the intention to retain all employees together with Precise Machine’s top-notch quality assurance program.
